Prenatal Visits
Choosing a pediatrician is an important decision. We recommend scheduling a prenatal office visit during the end of your second or beginning of your third trimester. This visit will give you the opportunity to talk to one of our doctors and get a tour of our office. We currently have hospital privileges to see newborns at both St. Mary's Hospital and Henrico Doctor's Hospital - Forest Avenue. It is not necessary to have a prenatal visit, but if you are unable to schedule one please check with your insurance and confirm our doctors are covered on your policy. Once you go to the hospital let the nursery know our office will care for your newborn. The nursery will contact us after delivery to see your baby and provide care during the length of the hospital stay. If you deliver at another the hospital local hospitalists will provide care. Please remember to obtain a discharge summary of your child's hospital course to bring to your first office visit.
