RISK FACTORS FOR TUBERCULOSIS

If you answer yes to one or more of the following questions, please tell your doctor so that a tuberculosis skin test can be performed.

• Has a family member or contact had tuberculosis disease?
• Has a family member had a positive tuberculin skin test result?
• Was your child born in a high-risk country (countries other than the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand or Western European countries)?
• Has your child travelled (and had contact with resident populations) in a high-risk country for more than one week?
